Emergency Room medical staff have this figured out. They are compassionate healers, but they make sure to protect themselves in the process. They have all that they need to keep themselves safe from taking on the client's symptoms; gloves, masks, disinfectants, hand washing protocols, etc. They connect with patients in a compassionate way in order to learn what is wrong, and then they offer their healing skills and techniques. They don't become engulfed in the patient's pain, and they dont feel guilty for leaving when their shift is over. They know that there's always someone else to cover for them and that they need the time off to rest and recharge, so that they can come in and do their best work the following day. They have figured out that taking on someone else's pain does not end their suffering; and that it only increases the amount of suffering in the world. When I teach Reiki classes, I give the following analogy:
While this won't always be a consideration, some locales and areas have "turtle codes" that prevent use of light fixtures that have too much glare or light in certain diretions. For most outdoor wall lighting fixtures, this shouldn't be too big of an issue as many lights have top shades which prevent most of the light from returning upward. But it never hurts to check your local regulations and ordinances to make sure you don't purchase the wrong outdoor wall lighting fixtures.
Besides, remember that the illumination casted isn't of the same density. 2 thirds of the illumination on the ground is likely to be more intense than the rest which is spilt over and filtered off as its elongates away from the origin. You can overlap the splitted over lighting from two recessed down lights to derive a more regular illuminance.
If you are concerned about the strength of your bones, studies have found that it is not increased calcium intake that lowers the risk of osteoporosis (15) but in fact magnesium that increases bone mineral density in the elderly (16).
